The Portland Harbor Community Coalition (PHCC) was founded in 2012 by local Portland resident Donovan Smith.
A major focus for PHCC has been addressing the Portland Superfund site on the Willamette River, as well as sustaining healthy relationships between the River and the Communities which live on and are impacted by it.
Smith explains more about PHCC and tells us about the Illamette Hip-Hop River Festival, happening until 6pm at Cathedral Park on Saturday August 24th.
TRIPP-P discusses the Mauna Kea Protest happening in Hawaii, which has garnered some celebrity attention, and also talks about Portland's Point-In-Time Count, which was just released.
