Cascade Singers are hosting "Songs of Shamrock and Thistle" at St. Peter's Landmark on
3rd and Lincoln in The Dalles. Hear arrangements of Irish folk tunes by a choir, an ensemble
and the Almost-All-Irish-Almost-All-Brass Band. Pay what you want to benefit St. Peter's
Landmark.

An OPB film screening of the enviro-documentary Dirt! is happening at the University of
Oregon's George S Turnbull Center on 70 NW Couch Street at 6pm. Find out how industrial
farming, mining and urban develoment have led us toward droughts, starvation, floods and
climate change. A question and answer discussion with Eric Stachon of 1000 Friends of
Oregon and OPB's Jeff Douglas will follow.
