Dave Frishberg: Portland pianist, vocalist, songwriter and composer
Dave was a unique individual, a wry commenter on American social mores,
and an engaging and unforgettable man.
Today we will start with a program dedicated to him, his wife,
and his legion of fans. The tribute will continue with a set of his music
for each Jazz In The Afternoon show until year's end, at least.
We'll save his immortal baseball tales and tunes until
our annual Baseball and Jazz special late March or early April.
