Afro-Cuban music in Africa
The influence of traditional African music in Cuba runs deep, and these Afro-Cuban sounds have in turn bounced back across the ocean, influencing modern music in Africa, especially along the Atlantic coast, all the way from Senegal to Angola. This week's show will feature Afro-Latin music in Africa, including African covers of classic Cuban songs, plus contemporary collaborations between African and Cuban musicians.
