Out Loud focus on local talent

Tonight's show focuses on local queer musical and writing talent!

We hear Heather Perkins "Walking Dolly's Dog", before moving into a discussion with Laura Calvo and Meridith Woods-Smith discussing a new option on your tax return.

Next, 'Everyday' from Heather Perkins leads into an interview with Heather about her upcoming benefit for Electogals. We also hear a musical work in progress (from Heather) after her interview.

Next, Carla talks with Diane and Jacob Anderson-Minshall, Wayne Gregory, and Dexter Flowers. These Portland authors are Lambda Literary Award Finalists. Diane is the author of Punishment with Kisses, and Jacob, Wayne and Dexter contributed to the anthology Portand Queer, Tales of the Rose City (edited by Ariel Gore). They each read their work during the show tonight.

The next QLiterati is happening on April 14th from 7 to 9 pm at the QCenter.

Sister Spit is happening Sunday April 11 at 7pm at Mississippi Studios.

Thank you for listening! Until next time, stay proud and live out loud!
